National Literacy Trust Reading competition

Mrs Ford is excited to announce that for the first time, Dronfield Junior School will be entering 2 teams of Year 6 pupils into the National Literacy Trust Reading competition. Our first heat, in March, will be online. The quiz will consist of 75 questions: seven categories with ten questions each, and a final category which will have only five questions. Each category will have a different theme and within each category there will be multiple choice questions, true or false questions, free text questions and illustrated/visual questions. Having seen past questions, they are on varied genres including questions on authors, characters, plots, illustrators and much more.

In this coming week, all the year sixes will take part in a quick quiz to find out who would be the ideal candidates to represent our school.
