Pupil Voice
Our pupils are at the heart of everything we do at DJS.
It is important that their views are heard, one of the ways we ensure they are listened to is through these groups.

Anti-Bullying Ambassadors

The DJS Anti-Bullying Ambassadors 2025-2026
Anti-Bullying Ambassadors are trained, passionate young people who will stand up to bullying behaviour and believe they can change things for the better. We believe that bullying behaviour is not acceptable- and should not be part of everyday life at school. We support others and are upstanders against bullying behaviour and a support network for our peers. We stand to shape attitudes and change behaviours. We aim to be a pillar of support, look out for others and are a strong voice for our school community.
We are currently working towards our Social Action Community Badge. We have spread the word about anti-bullying through delivering assemblies in our own school and at Dronfield Infant School.

i-vengers
The DJS i-vengers are a team of 20+ pupils who promote online safety in school. The i-vengers are active ambassadors for ensuring that children, parents and the wider school community are up to date with latest developments in all things relating to keeping safe online.

Bronze Ambassadors
On Thursday 17th October Mr Hands will be accompanying a group of Year 6 pupils to the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield where they will be trained as our 2024-2025 Young Bronze Ambassadors.

Every term, we canvas pupils' views and ask them about their learning in different subjects. We vertically stream the pupils to do this so they can share their learning across the key stage.
